The wipeable cover is for the true minimalist. It is simple and economical, as you can reuse the same cover through multiple nappy changes. The cover only needs to be changed if it is soiled since the fabric is not absorbent, so doesn't hold the smell or moisture. This is a “perfect” night nappy cover, due to its shape, size and double gusset soft elastic design.

How to Wash Your Modern Cloth Nappies

Step 1: Remove solids

Dispose of poo into the toilet. This step is optional if your baby has yet to start solids.

Then store the used cloth nappy in a dry pail for up to 24 hours

Step 2: Pre-wash

Pre-wash your nappies on a 30-60 minutes cycle on 40-60 degrees with detergent. This removes the majority of soiling. You nappies can then be placed back into a dry pail for a further 48-72 hours until they need to be main washed.

Step 3: Main-wash cycle

Run a long (2-3 hour) cotton cycle 40-60 degrees with detergent.

Step 4: Hang to dry

Air dry nappies or use a clothes/tumble dryer on low heat

How are Mimi & Co wipeable covers different from other nappy covers?

Our wipeable covers are made from heat-processed TPU (not chemically-treated PUL like most brands), making them softer and stretchier.

The double gusset design with a soft second gusset is a total game-changer for leak protection, especially overnight. Most importantly? You can wipe them clean and reuse them through multiple nappy changes because they don't absorb moisture or hold smells.

How long can I reuse a wipeable cover before washing?

You can reuse the same cover through multiple nappy changes until it gets actually soiled (we're talking poo explosions here) or the elastics get wet.

Since the TPU fabric doesn't absorb moisture or hold onto smells, a quick wipe with a cloth or baby wipe is all you need between changes. Some parents get 2-3 uses out of one cover before throwing them in the prewash - pretty genius, right?

Will wipeable covers fit my baby as they grow?

Why I love Mimi and co over other brands.

We have the 2.0 originals with the hemp and cotton inserts. We started using them full time when our son was about 3 months. They did fit him when he was smaller, but the nappy folded so big, it felt wrong on his little body.

We have minimal spillage, the flap at the back has caught many poo explosions!!

I like that you can use inside to either have the insert on top of or under.

I started with just 7 Mimi and co nappies, as I was a little nervous to spend big before I was ready to commit to the reusable process. I also bought some econaps, as I got a good sale price. Well, It’s been a world of difference. To compare they don’t have a catch at the back, and poo often goes up his back. The econap inserts also have all crinkles and gone really hard, and my baby gets nasty line marks on his skin from the inserts. I’ve shown some pictures to compare. Econaps on the right, Mimi and co inserts on the left.

So now I’m selling my econaps and have just invested in more Mimi and co originals. I now have 25 originals and that’s enough for me. I do washing every morning. At nighttime we still use disposables as that works for us.

I also have the tri-fold boosters. They are super absorbent and easy to mix in with my other inserts.

The reusable wipes, are almost too luxe to use as butt wipes. I have 15 of them, and find I use them around the house to clean up vomit and other spills and sometimes as extra nappy inserts, as they are super absorbent! I ended up buying a simple bamboo face washer to use for nappy wipes, as I found I needed about 40 in rotation.

Hope that helps someone feel good about buying Mimi and Co- the long lasting quality is what you’re buying.

I love these. The sizes allow for both overnight use or any day of the period use. I love that the material is white so I can see what is happening. So easy to clip on and stay in place.

Best period product!

This is the comfiest, easiest and most discrete period care product I've ever used. I have reacted badly to so many commercial products that this has honestly improved my mental health more than I was prepared for. Here are to many more periods without the 'pad/ tampon itch'!

Cute and fits nicely

Fits very nicely, giving me piece of mind knowing we won't have a blow out.
The prints are beautiful and the lining on the inside of the shell is the best for hotter months. For a bub with heat sensitivities it's been a blessing for his skin.

It’s such a pleasure putting this nappy on my baby at night, it’s so soft it’s like putting on a cloud! Even with all the layers it just seems so comfy and not a single leak even though little miss is a bit unwell and nursed all through the night!
