Washing Instructions

Handle with love: These beautiful merino wool pieces deserve gentle care. Hand wash only in lukewarm water using a specialised wool detergent. The good news? Wool naturally resists odors and dirt, so frequent washing isn't necessary.

Maintaining Natural Protection

Your wool covers come naturally treated with lanolin, nature's own waterproofing agent that enhances their protective qualities. Over time and with washing, this natural coating will gradually diminish. When you notice reduced effectiveness (typically after about a month of regular use), simply refresh the lanolin using an organic lanolin treatment. This quick process restores your covers to peak performance.

Simple Maintenance Routine

Less washing, more wearing: Skip the daily wash cycle. Instead, simply air your covers between uses and rotate with a backup pair. Only wash when visibly soiled. Your covers are ready to perform from day one, and they'll actually improve over time as the natural fibers develop their characteristic soft, felted texture through gentle use.

The perfect night nappy solution

I really struggled with a heavy wetting baby - the bamboo night nappies with a wool cover have solved this problem. The cover is so soft and easy to fit on a wriggling bub in the evenings.

I love this so much. I was sceptical at first that it would actually be waterproof and not leak everywhere, but it’s actually magic (or maybe just science / logic) but it’s the best. Bub is comfy and dry all night!

I couldn’t believe how well they work

At first I was like NO WAY will this work, went through the process of lanolising the cover which was way easier than I imagined! I gave them a go for our day naps and oh my goodness, they work like a dream and bubs is soooo comfortable in her wool ♥️ as you can tell by the pics one is VERY well used (sometimes as shorts lol) and the other brand new never yet used !

Leak free Nights!

I absolutely love my wool covers, which surprised me because I'm highly nurospicy and wool normally is a hard no for me to touch.
I have two and alternate between them each night, this also allows one to be in the wash while I use the other.
Only need to wash once a month unless they get soiled.
I've never had a leak using them!
I used them over the bamboo fitted nappy.

Wool covers are amazing! Comfy for bubs, only have to wash every month or so or when soiled and wayyy easier to put on a rolling whingey baby than a snap on cover. We use these over out preflats + boosters.
I was definotely hesitant due to the special wash routine but it's super easy. The only issue I've found is they're much harder to get poo stains out of due to the cold wash only requirement.

We were new to wool covers but took the plunge and they are so easy. Easy to lanolise, wash and use over and over again, especially to slide over a bulky heavy wetter nappy. We bought a large for our just 8kg Bub and it fits well with lots of room to grow

This wool cover is so beautiful! its pretty stretchy so you could size down if needed, because its so delicate I dont mind hand washing at all - at the moment i really only need to wash every month or so (or when the lanolin wears off)

So unbelievably soft and thirsty!

It’s such a pleasure putting this nappy on my baby at night, it’s so soft it’s like putting on a cloud! Even with all the layers it just seems so comfy and not a single leak even though little miss is a bit unwell and nursed all through the night! Currently 4.5 months and 6kg and we were able to get a perfect fit without much mucking around. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to buy some more…

Love these nappies

Have been using cloth nappies for 5 years and recently got onto Mimi’s. These are by far my new favourite nappy! Not sold on the poonami protector actually working but the fit and position of the snaps is perfect
