How to Wash Your Modern Cloth Nappies

Step 1: Remove solids

Dispose of poo into the toilet. This step is optional if your baby has yet to start solids.

Then store the used cloth nappy in a dry pail for up to 24 hours

Step 2: Pre-wash

Pre-wash your nappies on a 30-60 minutes cycle on 40-60 degrees with detergent. This removes the majority of soiling. You nappies can then be placed back into a dry pail for a further 48-72 hours until they need to be main washed.

Step 3: Main-wash cycle

Run a long (2-3 hour) cotton cycle 40-60 degrees with detergent.

Step 4: Hang to dry

Air dry nappies or use a clothes/tumble dryer on low heat

Your nappy comes with the option to add 2 CozyFit™ inserts, enough to get your baby from newborn to toilet training without a leak

Your inserts can be placed on top of the stay-dry layer, so that our WetAware™ textiles allow baby to feel wet when they've done a wee (perfect for toilet training)

Or you can place your inserts behind the stay dry layer, so that baby feels dry.
