4 STEP GUIDE TO

Fitting Your Mimi® Swim Nappy

Step 1

Lay baby on the open swim nappy, with the back of the swim nappy sitting 1-2cm above baby's bum crack.

Pull the wings across baby's tummy so that they sit underneath baby's belly button.

Step 2

Pull the front of the swim nappy up and secure the snaps onto the wings, leaving enough room to fit one finger in between baby's skin and the nappy.

Adjust the crotch by removing excess fabric using the different rows of snaps on the front of your swim nappy.

Step 3

Once the crotch has been adjusted, tuck any excess fabric upwards between the rows of snaps.

Run a finger along the inside groin elastics and waist of baby. The elastics should fit securely in baby's underwear line.

Step 4

You're now ready for fun water play

What age and size range do Mimi swim nappies fit?

Our adjustable swim nappies fit babies from ~ 5kg to 18kg (approximately newborn to 3+ years).

The adjustable snaps and elastic waistband grow with your child, so you only need to buy one swim nappy that lasts through all their early swimming years.

Can I use Mimi swim nappies in chlorinated pools?

Yes! Mimi swim nappies are made from chlorine-resistant fabric that won't deteriorate in pool water.

They're also suitable for salt water, lakes, and any other swimming environment.

How do I wash and care for my Mimi swim nappy?

Simply rinse off any debris immediately after use, then machine wash in warm water with your regular laundry.

Hang dry or tumble dry on low heat. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach as these can affect the fabric's performance and fit.

Do I need to wear anything under the swim nappy?

No additional nappy or underwear is needed. Mimi swim nappies are designed to be worn directly against the skin. The soft lining is gentle and won't cause chafing, even when wet.

These swim nappies are great! Initially I thought they were really small and would never fit my chunky boy, but the stretch in the PUL is like magic and it fits him so nicely - not tight on the legs at all. We’ve actually used it most as a cover for a fitted nappy, so it stretches to be even bigger than a regular swim nappy!
The side snaps make it really easy to get on and off my little guy too, and overall I really do love the fit and features of this - it’s gotta be my favourite swim nappy!
