Every production run is done from OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified materials. It's the global benchmark for textiles free of harmful substances. Reports on file, available on request.

QC checks on every seam

Trained QC inspectors check sewing and workmanship quality on every piece, not just spot samples. If a stitch isn't right, the piece doesn't ship.

03 · Ethics

Yearly Sedex audit

Every factory we work with is Sedex certified and re-audited annually, covering fair wages, safe buildings, working hours and dignified conditions. We'd happily show you the report if you asked.

A note from the founder

I started Mimi because I wanted to know exactly what was touching my baby.

I'm a forensic scientist. I read lab reports for fun. When I couldn't find a cloth nappy brand willing to show me their certificates, their factory, and their actual people, I started one.

Why are Mimi & Co nappies made in China?
The world's most advanced cloth-nappy manufacturing, including bamboo, microfibre and PUL processing, is concentrated in a handful of specialist Chinese factories. We chose the partner with the strongest ethical, environmental and quality standards, and we visit in person to keep them honest. Australian-designed in Canberra. Ethically made.
Are your nappies tested for safety?
Yes. Every batch is manufactured with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified materials for harmful substances, and we also run random, independent lab tests on absorbency, colourfastness and snap strength.
What does "eco-friendly" actually mean in your case?
A single Mimi nappy replaces around 250 disposables. Our shells use recycled PUL where possible, our inserts are bamboo viscose, and our packaging is plastic-free and home-compostable. We measure it because we mean it.
How does Originals 2.0 fit "newborn to toilet training"?
Adjustable rise snaps let the shell shrink and grow with your baby. It genuinely fits from around 2.5kg through to about 20kg, meaning a Full Time Stash can see one child all the way through.
Where does Mimi & Co ship from?
